1. Who is responsible
The controller for the processing described here is [Legal name / sole proprietor], trading as BGDE, [postal address], Switzerland. Email: contact@bgde.ch · Phone: +41 78 229 22 70.
This policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP / nLPD). Where the EU GDPR applies to you, the same principles apply.
2. Data we process
Contact form
When you send the contact form we receive your name, email address, company (optional), budget range and message. We use them only to answer your request and, if a project follows, to prepare a quote. The form is transmitted by Web3Forms (form-delivery service), which forwards the message to our mailbox.
Online purchases
Payments are handled entirely on the hosted checkout of Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland). Stripe collects your name, email, delivery and billing address and payment details. We never see or store your full card number. We receive the order details needed to ship, invoice and provide after-sales service. Stripe processes data under its own privacy policy, including for fraud prevention.
Email and phone
If you write or call us, we process your contact details and the content of the exchange to respond.
Website hosting and technical data
The site is hosted by GitHub Pages (GitHub Inc., USA). When you visit, the host automatically processes technical data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser) to deliver the site and keep it secure. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (Google, USA) and animation scripts from jsDelivr; these providers receive your IP address when the page loads.
3. Cookies and local storage
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies and uses no analytics. Your browser's local storage keeps your theme (light/dark) and language choice; this data never leaves your device. Stripe may set cookies on its own checkout pages.
4. Transfers abroad
Some providers above are located in the USA or the EU. Transfers to the USA rely on the Swiss–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on standard contractual clauses recognised by the FDPIC.
5. Retention
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted after 24 months. Order and accounting records are kept for 10 years, as required by Swiss law (art. 958f CO).
6. Your rights
You may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy in a common format, and object to processing. Write to contact@bgde.ch; we reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, edoeb.admin.ch).
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The version published on this page applies.
