Brief

A studio-floor bench. Holdable. Unkillable. One material, one finish, one weld seam — all visible.

The first object in the BDE editions line had to feel like proof: that a small studio in La Chaux-de-Fonds can ship a piece of furniture that doesn't apologise for being made of metal. We started with a 1 800 mm sheet of 4 mm 316L, folded it into a U, and let the seam tell the story.
